Massage Therapy
Winnipeg Massage Therapy
Zen’s Remedial Massage Therapist Tracey Sayas currently offers a variety of massage therapy techniques including relaxation, myofascial work, deep tissue, and sports massage. Massage is an effective complement to other treatments or as a standalone treatment for various injuries or general maintenance. You typically do not need a referral for massage therapy, but we recommend checking with your insurance provider to see if they require a doctor’s referral for your coverage.
Choose between 30 ($56), 60 ($86) and 90 ($110) min and let your Massage Therapist know the type of treatment you prefer:
Relaxation massage is focused on a very gentle treatment that relieves muscular tension, increases circulation, and promotes a general sense of relaxation and stress reduction.
Myofascial release therapy has a goal to stretch and loosen the fascia that interconnects all the musculature in the body. This helps to promote optimal gliding of fascia over the muscles and their connections. Options are manual techniques using hands or using other devices such as cupping, or Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization IASTM.
Deep tissue massage focus is on releasing the deeper layers of connective and muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body. It can be used to treat a wide range of sprains, strains, and chronic injuries in the body.
Sports massage is specifically tailored to different sports and sporting injuries. This might incorporate a blend of the above treatments to deal with acute (new) and chronic (old) injuries or general maintenance
